Bring the Message to your Church

Bring the Health, Healing and Evangelistic Event

As the name would suggest, this event is more than just a health seminar. The Health, Healing and Evangelistic Event goes much further than your average diet and nutrition seminar. First, this event empowers and motivates the attendee to seriously consider their obedience to the covenants and principles of the Word in relation to both their health and their life. Respecting their body as the Temple of the Holy Spirit is not a suggestion, but an obligation to the work of the Holy Spirit. Obedience to the covenants of wellness will produce the promise of good health.

Next, Healing by the Prayer of Faith, as explained in James chapter 5, emphasizes the necessity of repentance (Confess your sins one to another, and pray one for another so that you may be healed. James 5:16), as the precursor of effective faith. The combination of covenant living (obedience) and Faith is the best prescription for total health restoration. Now here is where the Evangelism starts. Personal wellness as a result of obedience and faith will now produce a testimony to God's healing promises.

Therefore, a powerful and documented testimony will always produce an effective and persuasive witness to both the believer and non-believer that God still heals, delivers and saves.

The Reason You Need to have this Event

The Church of Jesus Christ is in sad shape when it comes to the Kingdom priorities of personal wellness. We confess that our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, but we still have horrible eating habits, hate to exercise and are completely stressed out (But our number one prayer request is always for physical healing). Our churches are filled with overweight people, suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and a multitude of aches and pains. (But we still want to hear a message on prosperity)

Obvious Physical need

Physical disorders due to poor lifestyle habits:

  • 75% increase in the prevalence of obesity since 1991

  • 70 million Americans have Heart Disease and 38% of all Americans will die of Heart Disease.

  • 212,000 cases of Breast, and 106,000 cases of Colon cancer directly linked to obesity related habits.

  • 15M Americans have Diabetes while another 6 million have it and don't know it.

  • 17M Americans have asthma of which 5.5M are children.

  • One in five children in kindergarten are clinically obese.

Obvious Spiritual need

With the increase of so-called "breakthrough medical marvels", man has become more reliant on science than God. With every passing generation faith in God is being challenged more and more.

Jesus' Ministry:

It is no secret that 90% of Jesus' ministry was in the form of healing evangelism. As people were healed, they became the greatest witnesses for the purpose of the Kingdom. The purposes of the Health, Healing and Evangelistic Event and the 7 Weeks to Wellness Ministry is to help people get well, stay well, help others get well and spread the Gospel in the message of health and healing.

Kingdom Principle

Jesus' mission was to restore the principles of the Kingdom of Heaven back on earth. The first words of His public ministry were, "repent the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand". The Kingdom principle of health is to restore back to the original condition of God's creative design. The Health, Healing and Evangelistic Event enforce the principles of physical restoration to wholeness and spiritual restoration to salvation.

Unique Position

While most Christian health ministries focus on the "knowledge" of how to get well and what to do and not do to achieve health, the 7 Weeks to Wellness ministry goes 2 steps further.

The first is the impartation of "Vision". It is true that the Bible states that, "for lack of knowledge my people perish", but it also says, "where there is no vision, my people perish". It is not enough to just know how to get well, you need to see God's promise of you being well, and then the combination of both in action will produce results.

Then, we stress the adherence to covenant as not only the prescription to health, but also our service and duty to the Lord as good stewards of our body. Finally, the ultimate goal is to create a testimony of wellness to be a witness to the lost.

Replication and Evangelism

The endeavor of all ministries is to leave a legacy of hope in the wake of their efforts. With this in mind, our goal is to raise up Evangelistic Health Ministries in the local church that will carry on the work of Healing evangelism. Our commitment is to train and equip those individuals whose purpose is in alignment with this ministry. Their goal would be to continue providing resources, training, encouragement and witnessing to the lost on a regular basis right in the local church. The 7 Weeks to Wellness Ministry has created a turnkey system to operate a simple yet effective evangelistic health ministry right in the local church.

The Format

A high-energy presentation that confronts, challenges and ultimately empowers the audience in the area of personal responsibility for their health. The approximate running time of the event is 45 minutes to 1 hour with prayer time to follow. The event is usually scheduled as a regular Sunday service. There is no honorarium or fee required but a love offering is appreciated. Finally, we would need an area to display the 7 Weeks to Wellness material for those that are interested.

For Pastor and Leadership Conferences:

Key point

Pastors are not known for their prowess in the area of physical wellness. This leads to premature incidence of sickness and death. A key aspect expressed in this conference is the impartation of the "need for personal discipline", a characteristic critical for the development of all leadership skills.

Goal of the Clergy Leadership Conference:

The goal is to challenge and empower pastors and ministerial leadership to take control of their own physical wellness. Our hope would be to observe a tangible change in the leader, their example to their congregation and eventually a change in their respective community.
